Things are looking up! ^^

Good news, guys! Things are finally starting to come together for my college education! I've been fighting tooth and nail through all the technical bull crap in order to get the funds for my education and well... now things are really looking up for me!

I really want to go to Earlham College to get my degree in Psychology. I plan to start out as a counselor and work my ways up the education system while keeping random jobs in counseling until I can get my degree in education. When I get there, I plan to be a high school psychology teacher! While teaching psychology in high school, I will still be studying to be a professor, and eventually teach Psychology at a college. I'll keep working up the ranks until I have my doctrine, then I'll be a psychiatrist. I want to make a career out of that working at a mental institution.

I called Earlham to see if I would be able to apply and be accepted, and they told me that because my educational records from high school are very low standard (because I was a lazy dumbass freshman and sophomore who only wanted to draw) so I would have to take a semester of a public college in order to prove to them that I am capable of handling college level work.

I'm already accepted at IVY tech, so I'll just sign up for a semester's worth of classes there. I'll take intro to psychology and some core math and English classes. Probably a math refresher's course as well because I really let myself get rusty. >< God, I hate Algebra.

Anyway, that's what's going on in my life currently! My mom said she would be more than happy to give me the funds to go to this college even though it's godly expensive. She told me that if I screw up or drop out, it's all on me, though. I won't get a second chance. I told her "HELL YES! Thank you Mom! I love you so much!!!" Because I KNOW I won't fail. I'm just too stubborn.

My birthday is coming up in just two days, and for my present, I asked her if I could just go get my college laptop early. :3 So I'll be getting a better computer, and maybe I can see about  asking her to buy a copy of Photoshop for me?
